Thank you to all of the families who participated in our Score for the Saints fundraiser! We hope you had a great time while earning some much needed funds for our new uniforms. We couldn’t have done it without our volunteers, athletes, and families who supported the event, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Money needs to be collected and turned in to your coaches by the second basketball game of your season. Checks can be made out to “St. Peter Sports Association”.

Families who did not participate, stay tuned for your boxes of candy to sell.

WHAT IS IT?
The St. Peter’s Sports Association is sponsoring a fundraiser called “Score for the Saints”. Athletes will find sponsors (or donations) who will donate a certain dollar amount per point the athlete scores.

HOW WILL IT WORK?
Shooting spots will be marked on the floor and each spot will be given a point value. The further away the shot, the higher the score. Each athlete will have 2 minutes to shoot from any of the spots in hopes of accumulating a large score. Athletes will then collect the total donation from their sponsors. Money must be collected and returned to your coach before the 2nd game of your season.

SHOOTING SCHEDULE:

  • 11:00am – 8th Grade Girls
  • 11:30am – 5th Grade Boys
  • 12:00pm – 7th Grade Boys
  • 12:30pm – 5th Grade Girls
  • 1:00pm – 6th Grade Girls
  • 1:30pm – 4th Grade Girls
  • 2:00pm – 4th Grade Boys
  • 2:30pm – 6th Grade Boys
  • 3:00pm – 7th Grade Girls
  • 3:30pm – 8th Grade Boys

WILL THERE BE PRIZES?
Yes! The top money earner on each team will be awarded a basketball and the top overall boy and girl earner will also receive $50.

IN-GAME CONTESTS!
There will be in game contests, including the best overall shooting percentage, most 3-point shots made (regulation 3’s) most 1-point shots made, etc. with smaller prizes being awarded.

WHAT ELSE?
This will be a FUN event! Music will be playing, concessions will be open, and there may even be some side-bet action! Come excited and ready to have FUN while we earn FUNds to support our CYO Program!
